Bloody Cows, Tusks, Wooden Beams, Fish Traps and Devils Toe Nails

Updated: Jul 20, 2019

Stunning evening for bit of getting muddy. The level of silt on the area I pootle around is getting higher, around 6-12 inches in places where 3 months ago there was none. To make matters worse the cows have now gained access to the area closest to the cliff of mud and as such the deer prints have been obliterated sadly.

Picked up quite a few bits and bobs including iron bars, devils toe nails and what looks like a carved tusk.

Hoping to share some of this content and finds with #Citizan who are tryign to survey our intertidal coastline: https://www.citizan.org.uk/interactive-coastal-map/#zoom=1&lat=7000000.42789&lon=-449143.99347&layers=B00000FT
